2017 April Card Buffet

Here we are at the end of April and in the middle of the retiring season at Stampin' Up.  It's always a sad time along with an exciting time.  I never like to see some of my favorite items retire, but look forward to what is new, especially new In Colors.  The cards this month feature some retiring products as well as some things that will still be in the new catalog.  You have until May 31st to grab retiring products that you can't live without.  Some things are already sold out, so if there is anything you might want, please check with me so I can see if the items are still available.

1.  Fresh Fruit - I love this set because of all the wonderful
colors and of course the luscious fruit.  You can also
change the sentiment to Get Well, Happy Birthday or
even Thinking of You.

2.  Sympathy - The paper and ribbon is retiring, but the
stamp set will be in the new catalog.  Again you can
change the sentiment to what you might need.

3.  Mother's Day - I am really sad to lose the Botanical
Blooms set.  But I will keep it and use it for my own
cards.  Don't have your Mother anymore?  This would
be a great Get Well or Thank You or Birthday card.
It would even work as a sympathy card.

4.  Hello Baby - Here is another stamp set with matching
framelits that is retiring.  Besides the yellow, I have made
the card in pink, blue and green.  The choice is yours.

2017 March Card Buffet

Happy Spring to everyone!  Being a northern girl, temps in the 80's feel more like summer to me, but at least we don't have the snow and ice.  That is always something to be thankful for in my book.  I love seeing the tree outside my deck budding, and all the flowering trees are looking magnificent.  And when Spring arrives, Easter comes to my mind.  This month we will be making two Easter cards in preparation to bless someone special in your life for this wonderful holiday.

Easter Cross - He has risen!

Happy Easter flowers

Tools - Thanks for Always
Building me up.
You can change the sentiment and
make it a birthday card or even
an anniversary card.

Eggs! - I just love this little guy!  This
would make a cute thank you card
for a special lady in your life.

#2 July Card Buffet

With July having 5 Mondays, I have decided to have another Card Buffet this month so that I can get the regular class back to the end of the month.  The first Monday in September is Labor Day, so now is a good time to move back to the end of the month.  This way I can hold a class at the end of August before I go to Little Rock, Arkansas for my oldest daughter's baby shower.  Praise God for another blessing on the way.  Hope this makes sense to everyone.

June Card Buffet

Pinterest has been a wonderful place for creative inspiration.  Once I saw the Criss-Cross card box, I knew I wanted to share this with my Card Buffet friends.  The box design comes from Vicki Wizniuk at wizardshangout.blogspot.com.  Along with Crumb Cake and Early Espresso, I combined Pear Pizzazz and the new Gingham Garden Designer Paper to create the versatile cards.

The box holds 4 cards and envelopes.  Choose the same sentiment for all 4 cards or mix it up for different occasions.  Keep the box and cards for your use or give it as a gift.

Cards for our Troops

Any day is a good day to make cards.  And with some free time on my hands, it's a great time to make cards for the deployed troops.  Operation Write Home is an excellent organization supporting our heroes, making it easier for them to keep in touch with their loved ones at home.  Want more information on OWH and how you too can help, just contact me.
