March Card Buffet

Happy first day of Spring!  Of course in Texas, many of our recent days have felt like Spring.  And my friends in the north are experiencing summer like temps.  And here it is already time for another Card Buffet.  I love this time of sharing creativity and inspiration with all of you.

On Wings Like Eagles

My favorite bird is the Bald Eagle.  So the In Wildeness stamp set (#120537) was calling my name.  This is a card that should please any bird lover in your circle of friends or family.  The card body and ink is Not Quite Navy.  The designer series paper is Well Worn (#122359) and it sits on a piece of Crumb Cake.  The eagle and sentiment are stamped on Very Vanilla.

A Basket Full of Bunnies

These cute little Easter Bunnies full of goodies are hopping their

February Card Buffet

I can't believe how fast the weeks go by.  Valentine's Day is over, and now it's time to move on to Spring and Easter and everything in between.  This month we are meeting on Monday, February 27th, and will be making birthday and Easter cards.  Everyone has family and friends celebrating a birthday (I have 3 of my kids in March).  And Easter is April 8th, so we will get a jump start preparing for that special day.  Hope to see you on the 27th at Judy's Stamp Studio.

Swapping is Fun!

Swapping cards is a great way to learn new ideas and encourage each other through creativity.  My upline, Judy Hogan, has started a monthly card swap with our Bluebonnet Stampers group meeting.  What a great group of friends.  And the cards were excellent.  Here is my contribution from a quilt I found on Pinterest.  As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to turn the quilt design into a card.

As 2011 comes to a close and 2012 begins, I want to thank all of you who have loved and supported me through my card classes and doodle classes.  It has been a great year, and I look forward to many new classes and opportunities to work with you and perhaps meet new friends too.  So...keep those creative juices flowing, and I hope to see many of you next month.
