May Card Buffet

Going, Going, Gone!  It's almost time for the new Stampin' Up Annual Catalog, so that means some things have to be retired to make room for the new.  So before we say good-bye, the cards this month will include retiring stamps, papers, punches, dies and inks.  Here are your choices.

Happy Anniversary - I have some family anniversaries coming up
but you can change the sentiment to fit many occasions.

Sending Good thoughts - A good card to just brighten someone's day.

With Sympathy - Another card where you can change the sentiment
to fit your needs.

 Just for You

Thank You card

add your message.

for many occasions.

Get Well card made with the Happy Watercolor stamp set and
Watercolor Wonder Designer paper.

Happy Watercolor!

Here are some cards of a new favorite stamp set, Happy Watercolor and Designer Series Paper, Watercolor Wonder.  Both are from the Stampin' Up Occasions mini catalog.  This set really does make me feel happy.  I wish I could get a whole pack of the paper with the green and blue flowers.  I just love it!

Here is my card for an upcoming swap.  We were to make a card or a 3D project using
one of Stampin' Up's scoring tools.  So this was the perfect time to use my new
Happy Watercolor stamp set with some very cheery paper.  The front pops forward, and the back pops backwards creating a fun window for an image or a "Happy" sentiment.

Maybe it's the blue and green combination, but I just love this paper.  They are two of my
favorite colors and work so well together.

And here was my chance to actually watercolor the flowers, and they are Irises, my favorite.

March Card Buffet

He is Risen!  He is Risen Indeed!  Using the Hardwood background
stamp and cutting it into strips gives the perfect look for the cross.

Somebunny is saying Happy Easter!  This will be the perfect card
for my granddaughters.

It's Spring and time for flowers to bloom.  Here is a card that can be
used for Easter or a birthday or get well or whatever you need
a card for.  I love the soft colors of the designer paper.

How is this for a fun birthday card?  I bet you all know someone who can't
live without their phone, and would love this card.  And you can choose
between one for a female or a male.

Decorative bag topper and tag - No matter what the season or occasion,
you can use your Designer paper and make a beautiful addition
to your gift bag.

February Card Buffet

It's Sale-a-Bration time!  Here is a card that shows off some of the products
you can receive with a $50 order.  There is Sweet Sorbe Designer paper, or a new
embossing folder with funky dots (I love it), or a new punch that will
create all the little flags your heart desires.

It won't be long and Easter will be here.  Here is the new Easter stamp from
the Occasion catalog.

The old with the new.  Lovely as a Tree is my oldest stamp set that is
still in the catalog.  I hope it never leaves.  Now it is combined
with the new Woodgrain background stamp.

The woodgrain stamp makes a perfect tree for our cute owl punch.  The "woo-hoo"
comes from our new Just Sayin' stamp set in the Occasion catalog.

Ombre color card with the new embossing folder.

January Card Buffet

Thinking of you Valentine

Be my Valentine

Happy Birthday Cupcake - Found this idea on Pinterest.  Thanks to Julie at kewlstamps-n-more.com.  When I saw this, I said "I have this paper!"  I just changed up the sentiment to what I had on hand.

Birthday Wishes - This card can be used for many occasions simply by changing the sentiment.  Another Pinterest find.  Thanks to Susan at susanstamps.wordpress.com.  I had this chevron ribbon in Island Indigo, so I changed up the colors to Island Indigo and Pear Pizzazz.

Lattice window card - Thanks to Dawn Olchefske at dostamping.typepad.com.  She makes awesome cards, and she is the upline of a dear friend of mine, college roommate and fellow Stampin' Up demonstrator, Cheryl O.  Too bad they both live in Minnesota.

There you have it.  It's a new year with many new possibilities to spend time with wonderful friends and get creative.  And what a better way to start then with making some Valentines.  I love Valentines day.  It holds a very special meaning to me.  And my goal this year is to make many more cards for Operation Write Home and cards to share with family and friends, to give some encouragement or to just say "HI".  Can't wait for you to join in the fun with me!

November Card Buffet

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to everyone!  This is one of my favorite times of the year, when we stop to give our thanks to our Heavenly Father for everything He is and has done for us.  As a bonus, we don't have to give gifts either.  It's a time for families to be together and share in God's goodness.  It the world of stamping, it's a time to finish up with making Christmas cards.  I still have a long way to go before I will be finished, but I love it and am so thankful to God for being able to do what I love and share it with others.

Aren't these the cutest mini coffee treat cups?  Thanks to fellow demo Teresa Goff
for this idea.  They would make great stocking stuffers, teacher gifts, office worker
gifts or even adapted for other occasions.

Merry Christmas Snowflakes - Here is a new technique, at least to me, where you
sponge your white paper with color and then spray the stamp with Stampin' Up
Stampin' Mist.  It acts like a bleach.

Merry Christmas Polka Dots - Thanks to DeAnn Rauzi at
stampinonthecamasprairie.blogspot.com for some of the
ideas for this card.
