While using the Rule of Odds, I created a card with three flowers and three leaves.
Even the sentiment is made up of three words. The flowers were created with the Mixed Bunch stamp set from Stampin' Up. The leaves were punched from the Blossom Builder punch also from SU. You fold the leaves in half and then run through a crimper. It gives them a fun texture.
I learned about using odd numbers years ago in art classes in high school. It really does make a difference.
Beautiful card Marilyn! What a nice impact the 3 bold blossoms make and the way they overlap slightly creates such a nice relationship between them. I think the Rule of Odds in a familiar design concept to many and I agree that it really does make a difference. Thanks for sharing this and joining in the April Bootcamp!
ReplyDeleteLove the flowers- and the crimping of the leaves-- nice tip! TFS
