This challenge is hosted by Sybrina at Scrapping with Purpose, and it's a two card challenge. One card will go to a hero and the other card will be for a hero to send home to their child.
This is the Hero card for a special person who will not be able to spend Christmas with their family. I used the Lovely as a Tree set and stamped the two outside trees in Soft Suede and the middle tree with Versamark and then embossed with SU gold embossing powder. Card body, ribbon and sentiment are stamped in Cherry Cobbler.
Here is the Kid's card using the new Scentsational Season set along with the Holiday Collection Framelits. The buttons on the gingerbread man are SU pearls and then colored with a permanent red marker (Sharpie). The sentiment is from the SU Hostess set Wacky Wishes and stamped in Gumball Green. I hope all the kids will get wonderful cards from their hero parent this year.
These are both great! I love the classy look of your Anyhero card and the fun, bright colors in your kid card!
ReplyDeleteLove them both, but the one with the trees is my favorite!!
ReplyDeleteAll of your cards are just gorgeous -- seriously gorgeous! I really don't even know where to begin...
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for playing along with the VCMP challenges, including Christmas is for Kids. One hero and one little one is going to treasure these cards.
